This Geisha lot features elegant flavors that were originally developed in the ancient coffee forests of southwestern in Ethiopia. It was grown in a place well-suited for producing high-quality coffee: El Encanto is located at an elevation of 1850 meters above sea level in a district of Santa María de Dota called Calle Copey. But this coffee's exceptional pedigree and terroir are only part of the explanation of what makes it so good. The rest of the story involves the members of the Brenes family who grew and harvested the lot with a focus on quality, and the team at COOPEDOTA that dried it in the sticky, sweet pulp of the coffee fruit as part of their honey-process protocol.
